All programs are not created equal:

Sadly, not everyone in the business of providing treatment does it with honesty and integrity. Call the program, ask to speak to counselors and administrators. Ask questions. Find out who licenses them, who are they accountable to, are they CARF or JCAHO accredited if an inpatient program?

We strongly suggest you go to a NYS OASAS licensed treatment program for an evaluation and treatment recommendation. An OASAS provider will direct you to a program most appropriate to meet you or your loved ones needs.
